Host Security Update			November 29, 2005

This security update protects the pcAnywhere Host from
an attempt to gain control via a buffer overrun attack.

Supported versions:
pcAnywhere 11.5.1.152, all supported operating systems
and languages.

The version may be determined by referencing ABOUT from 
the HELP main of the pcAnywhere Manager product interface.

To apply the update:

1. Cancel the pcAnywhere host (if it is running) and 
close the product user interface.

2. Browse to the location where pcAnywhere is installed 
(typically \Program Files\Symantec\pcAnywhere) and 
rename or make a backup copy of AWHLOGON.DLL.

3. Copy the updated AWHLOGON.DLL file into this location.

You may now use pcAnywhere as before.  No additional
configuration is needed.
