If you have manually installed the Heidi Pentium III components and then installed an AutoCAD 2000i Service Pack, the heidi7.dll and szb7.hdi files will be inadvertently overwritten by older versions. To correct this problem you need to install the files provided in this update to take advantage of graphics performance enhancements for the Pentium III processor.
This update applies only to English locked and unlocked versions of AutoCAD 2000i and Autodesk vertical applications that are based on AutoCAD 2000i (such as AutoCAD Map, AutoCAD Mechanical, Mechanical Desktop, and AutoCAD Architectural Desktop). This update should not be installed on other versions of AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, or AutoCAD Desktop Applications.
1. Backup your current copies of the heidi7.dll and szb7.hdi files.
2. Download the update and copy the new heidi7.dll and szb7.hdi files to the following locations in your AutoCAD 2000i product installation.
· Copy heidi7.dll into the same folder as acad.exe.
· Copy szb7.hdi into the drv folder of your AutoCAD installation.
