CA Licensing - Product Code Patch version 1.63.3.1 The purpose of this Patch is to update the Licensing Prod_codes.txt and Lic_comp_codes.dat used by CA Licensing sub-system. The Patch would normally be applied under the direction of CA Technical Support to address a specific problem within the licensing sub-system. ______________________________________________________________________ 1.0 Installation 2.0 Operating System Support 3.0 Contacting Technical Support ______________________________________________________________________ 1.0 Installation To install this Product Code Patch:- 1) Unzip the patch (lic98_keygen_5.zip) to a writeable folder on the machine where licensing is installed. 2) Run updateProdCodes from a command prompt or by double-clicking it. The updateProdCodes script will replace existing licensing files Prod_codes.txt and lic_comp_codes.dat if updates are required. The destination folder for the new files will depend on where CA Licensing is installed. This wil normally be in c:\ca_lic or c:\program files\CA\SharedComponents\ca_lic.
