PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: NT    -MOVE    EXTRA    TAPE    TO    SCRATCH   SET        
                     ----------------------------------------------------       
                     When  ARCserve  is  configured  to  use  SQL as the        
                     ARCserve Database,  extra tapes  may be  moved from        
                     the save set to the scratch set.                           
                     For example:  If ARCserve  is configured  to use  5        
                     days  of  backup  tapes  -  and backups with 2 tape        
                     sequences are created each day - there are a  total        
                     of 10 physical tapes.  The 'minimum # of  save set'        
                     is set to  4. ARCserve should  maintain at least  4        
                     logical tapes (8 physical  tapes) in the save  set.        
                     But in this scenario 6 physical tapes were moved to        
                     scratch set and 4  physical tapes (2 logical  tape)        
                     stayed in save set.                                        
                     This  problem  occurs  on  BAB  servers  which have        
                     configured SQL to be the alternate ARCserve DB.

PROBLEM RESOLUTION:  Follow the instructions below:                             
The following PREREQS must be applied before applying this fix:                 
SP1                                                                             
This fix requires BrightStor ARCserve Backup Release 11.1 to be                 
installed.                                                                      
1. Shutdown all BrightStor ARCserve Backup services and BrightStor              
Manager.                                                                        
2. Unzip the fix file as follows:                                               
      CAZIPXP -U QO66654.CAZ                                                    
3. Rename Asdbcli1.dll in X:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve               
Backup to Asdbcli1.dll.QO66654.                                                 
4. Copy Asdbcli1.dll to X:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve                 
Backup .                                                                        
5. Start all BrightStor ARCserve Backup services.
