                     backed up through a Client Agent for Windows,  with        
                     the  session  password  option  specified,  and the        
                     BAB Server  is r11.1.  This  will  occur even if no        
                     session password is entered at restore time, or  an        
                     incorrect session password is given.

PROBLEM RESOLUTION:  Follow the instructions below:                             
The following PREREQS must be applied before applying this fix:                 
SP1                                                                             
This fix requires BrightStor ARCserve Backup Release 11.1 to be                 
installed.                                                                      
1. Shutdown all BrightStor ARCserve Backup services.                            
2. Unzip the fix file as follows:                                               
      CAZIPXP -U QO67969.CAZ                                                    
3. Rename asbackup.dll in X:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve               
Backup to asbackup.dll.QO67969 .                                                
4. Rename astask.dll in X:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve                 
Backup to astask.dll.QO67969 .                                                  
5. Copy asbackup.dll to X:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve                 
Backup .                                                                        
6.                                                                              
   6-1) For WindowsXP,                                                          
        Rename astask.dll.xp to astask.dll, and Copy it to X:\Program           
Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve Backup .                                           
   6-2) For Windows2003,                                                        
        Rename astask.dll.2003 to astask.dll, and Copy it to                    
X:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve Backup .                                
   6-3) For other Windows OS,                                                   
        Copy astask.dll to X:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve              
Backup .                                                                        
7. Start all BrightStor ARCserve Backup services.
