Following is the list of new features added to tapecopy.

1.	Accept as input a date or range of dates and copy tapes that have been touched on that date or in that range from source group to target group. It ‘s multithread copy, uses as many drives as we have in the changer. Changer only. 
Usage:  -date{MM-DD-YYYY,MM-YY-YYYY} or date{MM-DD-YYYY}

2.	Ability to copy the entire tape library from source group to target group. It ‘s multithread copy, uses as many drives as we have in the changer. Changer only.
     Usage:  -entire

3.	Ability to copy tapes to other tapes within the same group. It supports both multithread and sequential copy.

4.  Export the tape after it has been copied. It supports both sequential \
     and multithread copy. Changer only.
     Usage: -ex

5.  Mark the target tape off-line after it has been copied. It supports both sequential \
     and multithread copy. Changer only.
     Usage: -off

6.	Enhance the log to include Date & Time. Add a switch to turn on/off date &
Time log. (Default is time on)
