Digest Schedule

A digest is a collection of messages that have been submitted to the list and held for delivery in a single, regularly scheduled transmission. Each digest contains the messages posted to the list since the previous digest was sent. The Digest Schedule specifies the day and time at which this mailing list's digest will be sent to you.

Please note that all delivery times are approximate.

The Digest Schedule can include any number of delivery times, which are given as a day of the week and/or an hour of the day. For example, the entry mon 5 pm would indicate that you should expect digest delivery for this list on Mondays after 5 pm.

In addition to specific days, the Digest Schedule can also be given as "daily" or "weekly". The daily option delivers the digest every day at the specified time (or at midnight if no time is specified). The weekly option delivers the digest each Sunday at the specified time (or at midnight if no time is specified).

If the Digest Schedule is given as a time with no day, the delivery will occur daily at the given time. If this field is left blank, delivery will occur daily at midnight.
