This program gives sales and marketing professionals the ability to benefit from the Internet without the investment of the many tens of thousands of dollars necessary to install and maintain high-speed communication lines and high performance Internet server hardware. Through this program, you can sell top quality Internet services and access to businesses worldwide.

As an am.net Sales Agent you can earn on-going commission on selling these services to new and existing customers. You can generate additional income by providing after-sale services to your customers, such as consulting, training, research, promotion, maintenance of Internet presence, etc.

am.net provides a full range of Internet services. Our Web Site Hosting services are the most technologically advanced and the most full-featured in the industry. We strive to continue providing the most effective Web features available including those for commerce, security and support for design or programming skills outside of customers' in-house expertise.

Take your time to review the information provided herein to determine your exact interest in this program. However, please do not hesitate in your decision to act. Does am.net supply me with sales leads?

Yes and No. Although we will frequently forward unqualified or semi-qualified leads from mailings, seminars, etc. to you, the primary source of your business will be from your own marketing efforts.

What do I charge my clients for my after-sale services?

Unlike our Business Partner Program, where you are free to set your prices and keep everything you bill for, Sales Agents are required to adhere to our standard price structure. Our rates range from $75/hour to $125/hour. Generally, you will get 70% of the billable services that you perform, and we get the other 30%. You will also be expected to perform some non-billable customer service to receive both the sales commission and the after-sale commission (see the commission plan).

Does am.net require me to meet sales quotas or pay any fees for this program?

No. We set up the Sales Agent Program to enable you to become successful. We understand that it takes time to develop your business, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to join this program.

If I need help, what do I do?

Your first source of support will be the online documentation on our web site. If you can't find your answer, we can always be reached by either e-mail (which is the preferred method), fax, or phone.

If my customers have problems, who do they call?

If you wish to receive the after-sale commission (see the commission plan), you will need to provide most of the support to your customers, however, they can contact us for any information that you are unable to provide. Please note that Sales Agents receive priority support, so your customers may get their questions answered faster if they go through you.

Do I get any assistance in marketing or selling Internet services?

Yes! In fact this is the primary difference between our Business Partner Program and the Sales Agent Program. Not only do you get sales literature you can use, we can pay for many of your marketing activities, such as mailing costs, advertising costs, etc. (We will not pay for your time, though.) In addition, one of our engineers can accompany you on a sales call for large projects or help you determine the right products or services for a particular customer.

Do I get any training?

Yes. To become a Sales Agent you must attend the FREE Program Details and Services Overview training session. After this session, you can receive fee-based training on more technical and specialized topics.

You will also receive a monthly newsletter informing you of the latest happenings in the Internet industry to keep you up to date in this fast-changing environment. You will save many hours by having access to all the research we do on the latest Internet tools and technologies.

Will my customers be taken care of if I no longer participate in the Sales Agent Program?

Yes. We are here for you and your customers if they need us. However, you will stop receiving your on-going after-sale commissions (see the commission plan) if you stop participating in the Sales Agent Program.

What is the difference between the Business Partner Program and the Sales Agent Program?

In the Business Partner Program you are even more independent. You get to keep 100% of the billable services you perform, but you get much less sales and marketing support than in the Sales Agent Program and you have to pay yourself for all your marketing activities. The commission rates, however are the same IF you choose to perform after-sale customer service and support. For example, a Business Partner will get 30% of monthly web hosting fee, a Sales Agent will get 15% sales commission + 15% after-sale commission (see the commission plan).

am.net is a full-service Internet Services Company. We provide these and other services:

Consulting and training on the use of the Internet and online services for research, communications, and marketing.
Complete connectivity services (dial-up, ISDN, frame relay) that give users on a company's network access to the Internet, World Wide Web, and e-mail.
Setup of secure servers on customer's premises and training in their administration.
Design of graphical sites on the World Wide Web and hosting sites on our server.
Marketing/promoting the customer's company on the Internet. Internet public relations and research activities for the customer.
Implementation of complex real-time database-oriented systems for the Internet and their integration with the customer's in-house database services.

As an am.net Sales Agent, you can sell and get commission on any of the above services. You can also perform some of these services yourself, and sell our other services. Typical situations include:

You do marketing, PR, research for the customer, we do everything else.
You do web page design and customer training, we do the hosting, connectivity, high-end database development and programming, etc.

No matter how we have it setup, you make money on your services (70% of the billable rate) and you make money on EVERYTHING we do for your customer! The amount of money depends on whether you choose to do after-sale customer service and support. If you don't, you get only the sales commission at the rates below. If you do, you also get after-sale commission that is equal to the sales commission for the particular service.

Here is what the commission rates are for various categories of services and products:

Web Site Hosting Services ($50-$500 per month)
All services associated with web site hosting, including charges for secure transactions, optional services, virtual hosting, visit analysis services, etc. except any fees for Domain Name Service or any other fees charged by third-party agencies and organizations (such as InterNIC or VeriSign)
15%(if the services are recurring (monthly) then your commission is recurring as well!)

Any Consulting, Training, Design, etc. Services (i.e. Labor)$75/hour = General consulting, training, web page design, miscellaneous services
$95/hour = Consulting on Windows NT, UNIX, WANs, high end networking, etc.
$125/hour = Programming, high-end graphics work, etc.
