Web Server Technology

We develop and host most of our web sites in an open-source multi-platform web server from America Online, called AOLserver.

AOLserver is a multithreaded, Tcl-enabled, massively-scalable and extensible web server tuned for large scale, dynamic web sites. AOLserver also includes complete database integration and a dynamic page scripting language.

We run AOLserver on both Windows and Linux (Red Hat) servers.  Our primary database servers are Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 and PostgreSQL (the latter on both Windows and Linux).

Although our primary web application development and hosting platform is AOLserver, we also support IIS / ASP.NET.

We even have Microsoft Certified Developers on staff.
